We're Great Place to Work Certified: what it means to us
What the certification, and a big year of HR Asia awards, mean for our people and the clients they work with.
We're officially Great Place to Work Certified
We've got some news we're really proud of: OutForce is Great Place to Work Certified in the Philippines.
What makes this one special is where it comes from. There's no judging panel and no pitch from us. It's based on an anonymous survey of our own people, run independently of us.
85% of our people say OutForce is a great place to work. Great Place to Work puts that figure at 65% for a typical company in the Philippines.
Numbers like that don't come from one big policy. They come from lots of small things done consistently: year-end celebrations where we recognise people properly, our CSR work with kids and with older people in end-of-life care, team-building days, and showing up for our communities.
And the other 15%? We want to hear from them too. A certification isn't a finish line. It tells us pretty clearly what we still need to work on.
It also caps off a big year for us, so we wanted to stop for a minute and write down what all of this actually means.
Where we started
OutForce began in 2018. Our owners are Australian business people who'd been buying offshore and outsourced services since 2006. They'd seen both sides of it: the partners who made a real difference, and the ones that left clients frustrated and staff burnt out.
The idea was pretty simple. Build the kind of offshore company they'd want to hire themselves, and the kind of place good people would actually want to stay.
Eight years on, we're more than 750 people across Metro Manila, Cebu and Clark, working with clients in Australia, New Zealand, the US and the UK. We've grown a lot. What we're proudest of is that the people side has kept up with the growth, and these awards suggest it has.
A big year: the HR Asia awards
There's a photo from this year's HR Asia awards we keep coming back to. Eight of us on stage, a wall of lights behind us spelling out "Congratulations", and five trophies between us.
It's the second time HR Asia has named us one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia. In 2025, we also picked up the Most Caring Company and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion awards. In 2026, we won all four category awards on top of the main one.
Each of the four means something specific to us:
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Everyone here should feel welcome, heard and given room to grow. That's why things like turning up for Cebu's Pride celebration matter to us. It's not a campaign, it's just who we are.
- People Transformation. We invest in our people's growth, because stronger people build stronger teams.
- Sustainable Workplace. We want OutForce to be a place where people build a career, not just pass through on the way to somewhere else.
- Tech Empowerment. Better tools mean fewer repetitive tasks and more time for the work that actually matters. Automation and AI should make people's jobs better, not smaller.
If we're honest, these awards mean the most because they're about the people, not the business. Anyone can claim to look after their staff. It's different when outsiders look closely and agree.
What it means for our clients
For the businesses we work with, this isn't just a nice photo for the wall. When people want to stay, your team stays stable. Our employee retention sits above 95%, and that means less time re-training, fewer handovers, and a team that really knows how your business works.
And people who feel looked after tend to look after the work, and the clients, in return.
What comes next
We don't take any of this for granted. Awards are a snapshot of one year, and the work that earned them has to keep happening every day.
So we'll keep doing the basics well: listening to our people, investing in their growth, giving them better tools, and making OutForce a place they're proud to tell their families about.
To everyone at OutForce: these trophies are yours. Thank you.
