The short answer

Looking to build a team in the Philippines? These are the 12 outsourcing companies we'd look at in 2026: OutForce, Seretar Offshoring Services, Cloudstaff, ConnectOS, Beepo, hammerjack, Acquire BPO, Outsourced, MicroSourcing, Emapta, KMC Solutions and DBOS. They all deliver from the Philippines, and all but one are Australian-owned, Australian-founded or Australian-led.

One thing before you sign anything: if your offshore team will handle Australians' personal information, or you're APRA-regulated, ask each provider how they'll help you meet your Privacy Act and CPS 230 obligations. There's a checklist further down.

We've put OutForce first and Seretar second. We're OutForce, so of course we're biased. Our reasons are below, so you can make up your own mind.

Quick comparison

Rank Company Best for Ownership / base Delivery
1 OutForce Best overall: managed offshore teams and BPO Australian-owned and managed Metro Manila, Cebu and Clark
2 Seretar Offshoring Services Startups, SMEs, healthcare providers Australian-based Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

12 DBOS Small teams on a fixed monthly fee Australian-owned and managed Quezon City

How we ranked them

We looked at six things:

  1. Australian ownership or leadership, and whether they actually get how Australian businesses work, time zones included.
  2. What's covered: recruitment, HR, payroll, IT, compliance, specialist roles.
  3. How upfront they are about pricing, contracts and reporting.
  4. How they treat their people. That's what keeps your team stable.
  5. Security, and how they use tech and AI.
  6. Whether they're a good fit for Australian SMEs and mid-market businesses.

We stuck to Australian-owned, Australian-founded or Australian-led providers that hire in the Philippines. KMC Solutions is the one exception. It was founded in Manila and isn't Australian-owned, but it works with Australian clients, and it's one of the few that can give you office space and employer-of-record staffing in one go.

Everything we say about the other providers comes from public information, so please check the details with them directly. And again, this is one company's view, and that company is us.

Why Australian businesses hire in the Philippines

  • It's a big, established industry. Helpware's 2026 industry guide puts Philippine BPO exports at roughly US$38 billion a year, with about 1.82 million people working in it.
  • It costs less. The same guide says companies usually cut operating costs by 30 to 60 per cent compared with in-house or onshore teams.
  • The time zones line up. The Philippines is UTC+8, same as Perth. It's 2 hours behind Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart, and an hour and a half behind Adelaide and Darwin. When daylight saving kicks in (October to April), Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart move to 3 hours ahead, and Adelaide to 2.5.
  • Communication's easy. English is strong, and the work culture sits well with how Australians like to do business.

The 12 best outsourcing companies for Australian businesses

1. OutForce: best overall

OutForce is 100% Australian-owned and managed. We started in 2018, our teams work from the Philippines, and our clients are in Australia, New Zealand, the US and the UK. Our owners have been buying offshore services themselves since 2006, so we know what it's like on the client side of the table.

Why we've put ourselves first:

  • We're run from Australia. We've got an office in The Rocks, Sydney. That means Australian business standards, straight-talking communication, and people who understand what Australian clients expect.
  • We cover a lot. Recruitment and HR, payroll, IT support, compliance and AI-assisted hiring, all on secure infrastructure.
  • Good offices. Our teams work from Class A buildings set up for BPO work, with dedicated teams in Metro Manila, Cebu and Clark.
  • Our people stay. We were named one of HR Asia's Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026 (Philippines) and took out all four category awards: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; People Transformation; Sustainable Workplace; and Tech Empowerment. It's the second time we've won. Happy teams stick around, and that means less turnover for you.
  • Tech is part of how we work. Cloud tools, automation and AI are built into how we recruit, train and deliver.

Best for: Australian SMEs and mid-market businesses that want a fully managed offshore team, run by Australians.

Industries we work with include: property, accounting, legal, healthcare and construction.

2. Seretar Offshoring Services: best for startups, SMEs and healthcare

Seretar Offshoring Services is an Australian-based outsourcing and staffing company with offices in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It builds dedicated offshore teams and looks after the whole process, end to end.

  • It's about the relationship. Seretar sees itself as a long-term partner, not a volume vendor, with clear communication and dedicated support.
  • It suits lean teams. Startups, SMEs and growing providers are its main focus.
  • Healthcare is a genuine strength. It supplies offshore healthcare talent to providers, health tech companies and medical services businesses that are juggling admin load, compliance pressure and staff shortages.
  • It hires for fit. Candidates are picked for relevant experience and strong English, then matched to both the role and the client's culture.

Best for: Australian startups, SMEs and healthcare organisations that want a hands-on, personal partner.

3. Cloudstaff: best for large managed teams

Cloudstaff is Australian-founded and Australian-led. It was started by internet entrepreneur Lloyd Ernst, and most of its operations are in Clark, Pampanga, with more offices in Makati, Ortigas and Cebu.

It's one of the biggest managed-staffing firms in the Philippines, with thousands of staff. It made its name looking after Australian accounting, finance, admin and real estate teams, and it acts as the employer of your offshore staff, so the legal, tax and HR paperwork is taken care of.

Best for: Australian businesses, real estate and professional services especially, that want dedicated teams at scale.

4. ConnectOS: best for secure tech and IT teams

ConnectOS was founded by its Australian CEO, Steve Evans. Client support runs out of Melbourne, the offshore teams work from Mega Tower on EDSA in Manila, and there are offices in New York and London too.

Security is the big selling point. ConnectOS holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification and says it works within Australian privacy standards and APRA guidelines. It handles sourcing, hiring, IT infrastructure and payroll, and you run the day-to-day work. It's also made the AFR Fast 100 list a few times.

Best for: Tech companies and regulated businesses that need offshore IT and digital teams with strong security credentials.

5. Beepo: best for digital marketing and ecommerce support

Beepo was started in 2014 by Australians Aimee and Mark Engelmann. Since 2019 it's been part of Probe Group, the same Australian group that owns MicroSourcing. Its main base is in the Clark Freeport Zone, and it has an office in Queensland.

It covers digital marketing, ecommerce, finance and accounting, HR and recruitment, real estate, and NDIS back-office work.

Best for: Businesses that need marketing, ecommerce or NDIS admin support, with a big Australian group behind the provider.

6. hammerjack: best for outcome-based pricing

hammerjack is headquartered in Sydney and set up its Philippine operations in Makati in 2015. It works with small and midsize businesses on finance and accounting, IT and software development, and virtual assistant support.

Here's what's different: it has offered transactional pricing, so you pay per transaction or outcome instead of paying for a dedicated person. Its early clients ranged from bookkeepers and car garages to wholesalers and gym chains.

Best for: SMEs that would rather pay for results than take on full-time offshore staff.

7. Acquire BPO: best for large contact centre operations

Acquire BPO is Australian-owned and has been headquartered in Melbourne since 2013, with sites in the Philippines, the Dominican Republic and the US. In 2025 it rebranded as Acquire Intelligence and added AI consulting.

It does contact centre and back-office work, reports more than 7,000 staff in company materials, and is on the IAOP's list of best outsourcing providers.

Best for: Enterprise and mid-market businesses running high-volume customer experience operations.

8. Outsourced: best for top-tier talent

Outsourced has Australian roots and says it recruits the top 5% of talent in the Philippines. It's ISO certified, has Great Place to Work recognition, and bought tech staffing firm Double Yolk to build out its technical bench.

Best for: Businesses hiring for specialist technical and professional roles.

9. MicroSourcing: best for managed teams in Metro Manila

MicroSourcing is based in Metro Manila and is 100% owned by Probe Group, the Australian customer experience and BPO company. It has thousands of staff across 13 purpose-built hubs and is strong in accounting and back-office work. It's also Beepo's sister company.

Best for: Businesses that need bigger managed teams at scale.

10. Emapta: best for transparent pricing at scale

Emapta is Australian-founded. It started in 2010, it's based in Metro Manila, and it offers dedicated offshore and nearshore staffing. It has a good reputation for transparent costs and reportedly supports hundreds of clients in 30-plus countries.

Best for: Businesses that want clear pricing from a big, established provider.

11. KMC Solutions: best for office space plus staffing

KMC started out more than 15 years ago as a single serviced office in Makati. Now it runs more than 30 offices across Metro Manila and the regional business hubs, and it also offers employer-of-record, HR and payroll services. So it can hire your staff and give them somewhere to work.

To be clear, it isn't Australian-owned. In September 2026, Mitsubishi-backed private equity firm AIGF sold its stake to new investors. We've included KMC because it works with Australian clients and offers a workspace-plus-staffing combo that not many others do.

Best for: Businesses that want to hire through an employer of record, or set up their own offshore team in a ready-made office.

12. DBOS: best for small teams on a fixed monthly fee

DBOS (Dynamic Business Outsourcing Solutions) is Australian-owned and managed. Australian entrepreneur Jacqui Miller founded it in 2015. It's based at Araneta Center in Quezon City and focuses on small and medium businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

Pricing is a flat monthly fee, with no upfront deposit and no lock-in contract, and it can grow your team from one person to 50-plus. Services include customer support, back-office work, digital marketing and IT.

Best for: SMEs hiring their first few offshore staff who want simple, predictable pricing.

How to choose an outsourcing company

  • Check who owns and runs it. Australian-owned and managed providers tend to get local compliance and communication right.
  • Ask what's included. Recruitment, HR, payroll, equipment, IT, workspace, management support. Get it in writing.
  • Compare how they charge. Look at margins, setup fees, notice periods and lock-in terms. Some charge per staff member, some a flat fee, some per outcome.
  • Get quotes in Australian dollars. Staff are paid in pesos and plenty of providers quote in US dollars, so exchange rates can shift your costs. Ask for AUD pricing, and ask how they handle currency movements.
  • Make sure the hours work for your state. Check that shifts cover your business hours, including when daylight saving starts and ends in October and April.
  • Ask about turnover. Low turnover's a good sign. So is outside recognition for how they treat their people.
  • Look at security and compliance. Ask about data protection and Philippine employment compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Talk to their Australian clients. Then get on a call with the account team before you sign.

Australian compliance checklist

Offshoring the work doesn't offshore your legal obligations. Two rules matter most:

  • Privacy Act (APP 8). If you send Australians' personal information to an overseas provider, you generally need to take reasonable steps, usually an enforceable contract, to make sure it's handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If the provider gets it wrong, you're still accountable. Ask every provider for their privacy and data security terms.
  • APRA CPS 230. Banks, insurers and super funds have to keep a register of material service providers and tell APRA about material and offshoring arrangements, including which country the work's done in. An updated version of the standard came in on 1 July 2026. Ask providers how they'll support your due diligence and reporting.

This is general information, not legal advice. Check your own obligations with your adviser.

Frequently asked questions

What's the best outsourcing company for Australian businesses?

On this list, OutForce comes first. We're Australian-owned and managed, we deliver from the Philippines, we cover a wide range of services, and we've won HR Asia's Best Companies to Work for in Asia award. Seretar comes second for startups, SMEs and healthcare providers. Just keep in mind that we're OutForce.

Why do Australian companies outsource to the Philippines?

Mostly cost, talent and time zone. Businesses often save 30 to 60 per cent, there's a big pool of English-speaking professionals, and the working day lines up well with Australia's.

How much can I save by outsourcing?

Industry reports usually say 30 to 60 per cent compared with in-house or onshore roles. It really depends on the role, the seniority and how the provider charges, so ask each one for an itemised quote.

What roles can Australian businesses outsource?

Customer service, accounting and bookkeeping, admin, virtual assistants, IT support, software development, digital marketing, recruitment, healthcare and NDIS admin, property management support, legal support, and engineering or drafting.

What's the time difference between Australia and the Philippines?

The Philippines is UTC+8, same as Perth. It's 2 hours behind Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart, and an hour and a half behind Adelaide and Darwin. During daylight saving (October to April), it's 3 hours behind Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart, and 2.5 hours behind Adelaide.

Do Australian privacy laws apply when I outsource to the Philippines?

Yes. If you pass personal information to an overseas provider, APP 8 generally means you need to take reasonable steps to make sure it's handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and you're still accountable under the Privacy Act for how it's handled. APRA-regulated businesses also have register and notification duties under CPS 230.

Which Australian businesses outsource to the Philippines?

Mostly SMEs and mid-market firms in accounting, real estate and property, legal, healthcare and NDIS, construction, ecommerce and financial services, plus bigger companies running contact centres.

Is outsourcing to the Philippines legal and compliant?

Yes, if it's set up properly. Good providers look after Philippine employment compliance, including government-mandated benefits, and use compliant contracts. Double-check this with any provider you talk to.

Should I pick an Australian-owned provider?

Plenty of Australian businesses do, because communication, accountability and local expectations are just easier. But it's only one factor. Look at services, how transparent the pricing is, and how well the provider holds on to its people too.
